Firefly
The action takes place in the distant 26th century. The crew of the space freighter Serenity, led by galactic war veteran Malcolm Reynolds, roams the stars in search of adventure.
The heroes are on the run from the law, smuggling goods and constantly getting involved in dubious situations. Created by Joss Whedon, director of two Avengers films, the cult space western Firefly is an example of an undeservedly cancelled project.
The series was created by true masters of their craft, resulting in a heartfelt plot, an exciting script, and well-written and excellently played characters.
Fans have repeatedly tried to get the project continued, but Fox executives have never listened to viewers’ requests. The story has not been revived to this day, but in 2005, Joss Whedon finally made a feature film, ‘Serenity,’ which logically concluded the series’ unfinished storyline.

Doctor Who
The central character is the mysterious Doctor, an eccentric Time Lord who hides his real name. One day, he escaped from his home planet Gallifrey in a spaceship called the TARDIS, which looks like a blue police box. Together with his friends, the hero travels through time and space, meets amazing creatures and visits different worlds and eras.
Over its more than half-century history, the legendary series Doctor Who has not become outdated and is still loved by fans. Perhaps the secret is that the project does not stand still: from season to season, the appearance of the Doctor and his companions changes.
Battlestar Galactica
The plot tells the story of a long and bitter war between humanity and the Cylon robots. After the Cylons destroy 12 colony planets, the surviving handful of humans are forced to flee on the battleship Galactica. The survivors’ only hope is to find Earth, the legendary thirteenth colony.
Space
In the near future, humanity has spread throughout the solar system and is fighting among itself for influence and resources. Ceretian detective Joseph Miller is tasked with finding the missing daughter of a very influential man. Meanwhile, the crew of the cargo ship Canterbury is attacked by unknown assailants, and Miller suddenly discovers a connection between the missing girl, the attack on the crew, and the Cererian revolutionaries.
The film adaptation of the book series of the same name by Daniel Abraham and Ty Frank, writing under the pen name James Corey, is a remarkable space fantasy mixed with noir. In addition, the series is filmed to a high technical standard: the spectacular special effects alone are worth seeing.
Stargate: SG-1
The action takes place a year after the events of the feature film Stargate, directed and written by Roland Emmerich. The plot centres on SG-1, a team that explores distant planets and searches for allies to defend Earth from the Goa’uld, a race of intelligent space parasites.
